About The Project:
ADROIT is a European initiative dedicated to strengthening the capacity of higher education institutions to respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The project empowers educators and learners with the knowledge, skills and critical understanding required to engage with emerging digital technologies in a responsible, innovative and pedagogically meaningful way. ADROIT promotes a forward-looking vision for higher education in which digital competence, ethical awareness and human-centred innovation are integral to teaching and learning processes.
ADROIT:
By combining research-informed frameworks, educator training, learner-centred educational modules and applied digital tools, ADROIT supports higher education communities in navigating the rapid evolution of AI-driven environments. The project addresses existing gaps in digital readiness by fostering critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration and reflective practice around the use of artificial intelligence in education. Through this approach, ADROIT contributes to the development of inclusive, adaptive and future-oriented learning ecosystems that equip learners with skills relevant to both academic and professional contexts.
Through targeted capacity-building activities, structured educational modules, a dedicated digital learning environment and transnational collaboration, ADROIT contributes to a new generation of higher education educators and learners who are confident in understanding, applying and critically evaluating AI-related technologies. The project ultimately aims to enhance teaching quality, strengthen learner engagement and support the sustainable integration of digital innovation across European higher education institutions.
